Thanksgiving is one of the busiest holidays that people are looking forward to. This is one of the holidays that they want to spend at home and be with their families. Which, is why searching for the best airfare is quite difficult during Thanksgiving.

The travel industry announced that it would be hard for travelers to find the best deal during thanksgiving and other holidays. Since Christmas is just around the corner people are having a hard time finding affordable airfare especially with the economic crisis that we are all experiencing. The top 10 thanksgiving locations that people are usually booking are in: San Francisco, Washington DC, Orlando and New York. This tally is only based on the reservations that are complied last October 15 of this year.

Other travel agencies are also proclaiming that they increased their rates of 10% compared to last year. It is really quite expensive to be traveling, but this does not stop people from booking flights and planning trips outside the country. Some people who are staying at home instead of traveling are bothered how people spend so much money on a trip that would last for only a few days. Besides, despite of the ticket itself they also need to pay for other expenses during the vacation.
