High Alcohol Level Found in Winehouse’s Blood

Last July 23, Amy Winehouse a British singer died because of too much alcohol content in her blood. Ms. Winehouse had five times the legal alcohol level in her body which was seen in her inquest last Wednesday. The legal driving limit that a person has should only be 80mg, but Amy Winehouse had 416 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. It was beyond the average rate as seen on her charts.

The Grammy-award singer battled her way to success as well as drug and alcohol addiction. She had not consumed any alcohol beverages until the day before she died. Winehouse tried so hard to prevent herself from drinking alcohol, but because of overindulgence of alcohol complications arise.

Morning of July 23 the guard checked on Amy Winehouse and thought she was only sleeping. But after a few hours the security guard of her home felt worried and checked on her again at around 3pm, then called the emergency hotline right away. She died at her house in Camden, north London.

During the inquest Amy’s family and relatives were present but made no comment regarding the issue. But, most of his family members are actually relieved when they found out what happened to Amy.
