There were several reports about the flooding that Happened in Bangkok recently and due to this calamity many tourists refused to travel to the capital city of Thailand. Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River reached a record high of 2.53 meters which caused several floods in the Bangkok region. Thonburi is also affected with the flood on the west part of the waterway.

Numerous communities are in grave danger because of the tidal flood that they are experiencing plus, the waterlogged streets in certain parts of the district. Even the famous tourist spots of the country, Khao San Road, the Grand Palace and Chinatown, are suffering from this unwanted situation. This is why other countries are not allowing their people to travel to and from Bangkok because of the situation.

However, despite all the flooded areas there are specific destinations that could still be visit by locals travellers such as Sukhumvit Road, Siam and Silom. In addition to that some restaurants, bars and malls are also open because they are not tremendously affected by floods.

The main concern that the Thai are dealing with is their means of transportation because most of their trains and roads are still submerged.
