Karlie Kloss, who splashed onto the fashion scene by appearing on the February 2008 cover of Teen Vogue is all grown up. Barely three years removed from the seminal event, Kloss, is venturing out to new heights and her latest endeavor is drawing comparison to none other than Gisele Bundchen, the Brazilian wonder model that so many young beauties aspire to become.

At age 10, Kloss began studying at Caston’s Ballet Academie, and that dedication to the body continues to this day, culminating in her much celebrated physique, her body-baring photo spread in Vogue Italia’s December 2011 edition, the sweeping lines of her body at once a symbol of beauty and precision in all of its youthful glory. The spread, shot by Steven Meisel, is called “Body by Kloss” and one need not understand Italian to appreciate the beauty within. Karlie’s body speaks for itself. Kloss muses at the comparison with Bundchen, explaining that “Gisele is the ultimate.”

This is not the first time Meisel has worked with Kloss, having photographed her in 2008 for Pringle of Scotland. Of course, Kloss was much too young then for anything as developed as “Body by Kloss” and she continued appearing in teen versions of the fashion world. Meisel and Kloss also worked together for the same Italian Vogue in February of 2008, for an editorial piece. In that same year, a row broke out between Elite Management, the talent agency with whom Kloss signed in 2007 and Next Models, whom Elite alleges stole Kloss by “improper compensation” and has also “poached through improper means” other Elite models.
