Young the Giant Takes Seaside Sound on U.S. Tour
Young the Giant had a successful album launch in their California-beach inspired album tour. The indie rock band is hoping that American fans will be able to understand their music and support their album. The splash they created in their debut album was definitely be remembered by music fans.
Their two first singles are “My Body” and “Cough Syrup, invading radio, television, and film play. The band members are only in their early 20’s and they already established a name for their band and career. They are starting their first headlining tour on February 8 of this year. When the band was interviewed after their beach concert they stated that they were both scared and excited for their first headlining tour next month. People are already buying their tickets and they are overwhelmed that the selling is going well. They are hoping for a sold out headlining debut before they hit an album tour around the world.
They started in Irvine, California in 2004 as The Jakes, the band went through several band names and line-up changes before resolving on Young The Giant, with Gadhia on vocals, Francois Comtois on drums, Payam Doostzadeh on bass and Jacob Tilley and Eric Cannata on guitar.
