New Rules for Booking Travel
Airlines and travel agencies came up with new rules that will make a travelers life easier when booking a flight. Especially, when they make it effective this week they would acquire a lot of advantages from booking and spending a vacation somewhere out of town.
Vacationers can now change a booking date or cancel a reservation within 24 hours and receive penalty with 100% refund. This rule is only applicable if you book a flight a few weeks in advance, but if you book a flight the day before your departure this rule would not be valid. Numerous airlines already abide by this rule, and they make special treatments to medical cases. The new rules also discussed that airline advertisements should indicate the actual price of the ticket, incentives, mandatory taxes, and government fees. They are also liable in releasing the fee in terms of the baggage handling. Online websites should be concerned in the details they hand out to their potential clients to avoid mishaps in the future.
Another rule included is, airlines should be responsible in informing their travelers about delays 30 minutes and onwards. They could either make a call or contact them in every way possible to have a better transaction with the consumers.
