Adele Controls Billboard Chart in Slow Week
British singer Adele sustained her supremacy on top of the Billboard 200 album chart and the Hot 100 songs chart this week. Adele has a slow album sales and lack of new releases which makes the public impatient when they can hear new songs from Adele.
Adele made a breaking record for selling 95,000 copies last week and “21” became the first album since 1993. Her talent and singing skills definitely brought her fans wild whenever they hear an Adele son over the radio, television and internet. Last week Adele’s “21” album got lower than 20,000 copies a week garnering the top ten chart for the first time in Nielsen SoundScan record, and this week all the songs and records in the number 6 to number 10 positions sold less than 20,000 copies. Making the sales for singers slow down during this month.
According to Dave Bakula the sales for their albums are still on the strong track even though they are only 1% down than their average sales. All that might modify in the coming days with fresh launches from country singers Tim McGraw and Kellie Pickler, plus the authorized “2012 Grammy Nominees” compilation.
