Three Simple Stretches for a Good Posture

Having a good posture is a good thing because it makes yourself look confident and witty whenever you face a crowd. But, having a good posture goes beyond sitting straight and walking with your chin up. Slouching in front of the computer for hours can affect your neck, back and shoulder muscles that can lead to other conditions. Yes, sitting can be done daily but sitting for several hours can be a bad thing and lack of stretching can cause postural problems.

Hear are a few simple stretches that can help you acquire a good posture.
• Relax the back: Lie on your back while your knees are bent, arms straighten on the floor and your palms facing up. Relax and breathe deeply for 5minutes until your whole body is in a calming position.

• Stretch the chest: Stay on relax the back position and put your palms together while your fingers are locked to one another. Extend your arms keeping your elbows straight and repeat this for 30 minutes.

• Air bench: Sit against the wall while your feet, shoulder and knees are apart from each other with a 90-degree angle. Press your back and keep your shoulder relax. Hold this position for 90 seconds.
