People who are not familiarized with bed sheets are having a hard time purchasing one because they have no idea which design to choose. However, if you are skilled with home decors like this then you’ll probably know the importance of thread count among bed sheets. Thread count is the number of threads per square inch, so the more the thread count, the better the threads and the finer the fabric used for the sheets. But a high thread count isn’t the most important factor to consider when purchasing brand new bed sheets for your room.

It is better to focus on the quality of cotton and materials used because this is the reason why bed sheets are comfortable to use. Most preferred cotton is Egyptian, Pima, Supima or standard cotton. Egyptian cotton is the most recommended quality of cotton for most cases because it’s exceedingly absorbent and its threads can situate weaving procedure without falling apart. Pima and Supima are likely similar to the quality content of Egyptian cotton except the place where it is produced is different. Supima is manufactured in the United States while Egyptian cotton and Pima is made in Europe.
