Gest and the Jacksons Tribute the King of Pop with a Tour

Michael Jackson Remembered
March 2012 will mark the start of the tour named “A Jackson Named Michael: Remembering a Legend.” It will kick off in the United Kingdom. The tribute will be followed with another tour in Wales on October. Tito, Michael’s co-member in the then famous The Jackson 5, his sibling Rebbie Jackson, and their friend Deniece Williams will go on these tours to tell tales about the King of Pop and to entertain the audience with some singing. Katherine Jackson, another member of his family, backed-up a plan to do a tribute on October 8 in Cardiff, Wales. The show aims to share to the public the aspects of Michael Jackson’s life that they have never heard of.
The King of Pop started his career as a member of The Jackson 5 with his siblings before he embarked on a solo career. He popularized songs such as “Thriller”, “Man in the Mirror”, and “Beat It.” He met a tragic end in June 2009 because of an overdose of the pills he used to help him go to sleep.
